During the half term holiday in February 2009 Christine Leigh (Teaching Assistant and Governor) and her family visited a Special Needs School in Gambia. At The Bridge School we want to fund raise and collect items to send to the school, if you feel you can help please see a list of items we are collecting at the foot of this page.

At Christmas we donated the proceeds from our collections at the Church Service, raffles at the  two Primary Campus Productions and the staff donating in lieu of sending each other Christmas Cards. We were able send over £500 to Hart House.  Geoff Hunwicks sent his thanks to everyone who contributed.

The Heads name is Geoff Hunwicks and he sold his parents house when they died to set up the school. They are not Government funded and rely totally on donations and gifts.

 The very basic play area which doubles up as a washing area
