During the half term holiday in February 2009 Christine Leigh (Teaching Assistant and Governor) and her family visited a Special Needs School in Gambia. At Heathside we want to fund raise and collect items to send to the school, if you feel you can help please see a list of items we are collecting at the foot of this page.

The Heads name is Geoff Hunwicks and he sold his parents house when they died to set up the school. They are not Government funded and rely totally on donations and gifts.

Heathside is collecting items to send to Harthouse, if you are able to donate any of the following please send them into school:

·         Pillow cases

·         Pillows

·         Blankets

·         Children's clothes for 5-16 year olds

·         Tea towels

·         Children's books

·         Puzzles and small toys (not battery operated)

·         Children's DVDs
